So I thought I had ordered ALL the carpet for the car once I open the box I learned I only ordered the back but I installed it today this was very simple only 4 screws. If you look at the back seat you can see a big difference in color.

Plan on ordering front carpet tonight.

Added the speakers today. Dash speakers didn't fit great but it will work. The one down side is I bet I added 5lb to the car they weigh a bunch more. Added some tape to the connectors thought it may cut down on noice.

So the hole for the air box wasn't as big as the hole in the box you can see in the pic I used a black marker to mark the area I needed to cut. So I cut it out. I think this should give 20% more air flow. Thought about cutting the box by the headlight but I don't think its needed.

Also No Pain No Gain.

Looking good man, I'd like to know more about the amp and head unit set up you have. Bluetooth with OE head unit would be great.

What speakers did you go with?

On the speakers I just went to crutchfield and just put in my car and got the cheaper Memphises I could get. The are all 2 ways. If you want part # just let me know. But the will give you a few options.

https://www.crutchfield.com/S-sU1C1Q...-Speakers.html

The head unit I haven't installed yet but I have installed one in my MG.

My plan is simple I'm just going to wire it up to the wires that go to the head unit. But the power and the remote wire I will also connect to the OE that will make it come on and show me the time but thats it. Thats all I want from the OE is the time and to look stock. The new head unit I will hide back in the dash it is very small. One thing to add is the 93 cobra came with a amp already installed under the passenger seat. I'm going to leave all that I'm just going to connect the speaker wires that go into the head unit to the new head unit.

https://www.ebay.com/i/162120959651?chn=ps

Keep in mind only this one has bluetooth.

ST4.1000DB | Soundstream

When I connect it I will post some pics but like above. Connect the new one/hide. Connect power and remote wire on the OE(this is also connected to the new one) and install in OE spot.

So I have had my computer (Megasquirt) setting in the passenger-side floor and wanted to put it in the computer spot.

First off the computer holder has to come out. So I used the bottom part to hold the computer in place see pic I cut to make it like I wanted it.

My plan is to put some insulation on both sides of the computer to make it even more stable.

The vacuum is on bottom you can see in pic how I cut for it to work.

The top has both the big plug and the little plug that connects to the laptop. Thats why that part had to go.
I ran the 2 wires over the top of my AC/Dash lines so that it wouldn't be in any bind and should keep it from coming loose.

So both actuators were broke so I changed the easy fix.

Had a security system on the car but never worked so took it out. Will be going with a new one once car is back up and running.

Worked on installing the radio.

First my plan was to use the aftermarket plugs that were on the aftermarket radio that was in it to make a clean transformation. The plan also was to use the stock amp and all wires also.

It didn't work can't tell you why but it wouldn't run from my bluetooth radio and the stock amp. So I pulled the Stock amp out and rewired speaker wires.

First try. Top wire is power, remote and ground. Bottom is speaker wire connector.

Being it didn't work I pull amp out and all wiring. Speaker wire has a connector under the dash (see pic). I unplugged it and rewired.

Have pic of the new wire connector I made for speakers. Just looked at the wire colors at the speaker to match them up.

Also have a pic of how I wired the radio into the stock to make them both have power. (keep in mind the stock is just for clock and looks)

You can pull the elastic tighter from the back side or replace it all together with newer tight elastic. Panels need to be off though

Here is a video https://lmr.com/products/Mustang-Doo...-Install-Video

The car is coming along nicely, any updates on the motors arrival date?

Thought I would post my engine build (Fordstroker built)

I'm hoping for 500HP NA but I built this motor for 1,200hp+.

Dart SHP 363 Internal Balanced, Trickflow 11R 205 heads 66cc (Fel Pro MLS 1134 Head Gaskets). 10.1 compression
RPM 4340 crank, Scat 4340 H Beam Rods, 2618 Forged Wiseco Pistons, Wiseco's GFX ring. Motor is good for 9k rpms if I used solid lifters (I'm not).
Custom cam for NA (Idle to 6,500rpms)
8 way adjustable SA Gear billet timing chain with a torrigton bearing
Morel HYD roller link bar lifters. (5323)
3/8 pushrods 4130 Chromemoly
Jesel shaft rockers (They only make one for the 11r heads) (KPS-470191)
Moroso Oil Pan with billet end seals (oil drainback added supercharger or turbo just if I ever want to go that direction)
Melling Standard Volume Oil Pump (10687)(I didn't want a high volume pump)
Moroso Oil Pump Pick up (24516)
ARP Billet Oil Pumpshaft
New timing cover
Edelbrock Water Pump (8840) (He is going to cut the tip down to 3/8 to help fit me electric fan)
All ARP bolts (All of them I know its a little extreme) LMR make a kit for the timing and water pump
All Fel Pro gaskets

I have made 500hp on a 280hp motor for years so this time I went the opposite direction. After some research I seen the shaft rockers were way better especially for a daily driver I want this motor to be good for 200k-300k miles before rebuild.

Ordered my K member with A-arms and bolt kit from PA Racing today. (Will change this when I put in new motor)

K-member

1 Black
2 Chromoly
3 Motor mounts (standard 5.0) 3/4in drop (have Convertible motor mounts on now they gave my 1/2 drop, This will let me use stock to have 3/4 drop or use the Convertible mounts to get a full 1 1/4 drop)
4 Rack Drop 3/4in drop (This will give me room for the oil pan but not be stupid low)
5 Removable center (Was told by PA Racing not worth the money on a Foxbody)
6 Road Race option (he already told me I didn't need it)
7 Spring Perches (This is a must I'm going with there A-Arms and my stock springs)
8 Tow hocks (Didn't add it hope to never need lol)

A-Arms

Black
Bushing ends
Chromoly
Spring Perches

Ok, so I have decided to go with the T56 magnum I just really don't want to worry about a transmission this way it will shift great and hold all I give it. Downside I am giving up some more HP to the drive train. In the end its a street car and the T-56 will be the best for that will be going with the 2.66 first gear.

I have the same "wide ratio" T-56 Magnum in my '95 track day car. Sweet tranny, it does sound like crunching gravel idling with the lumpy solid roller in that engine. It does quiet down if you push in the clutch. I think that with your milder hydraulic roller you will probably not experience this issue. Get the speed controlled reverse lock out if you want to get it in reverse easily.

For the new '95/363 daily driver I bought an Astro A5 gear set/mainshaft upgrade to install in the 20K T5 that came out of the track car. I always liked the shifting/feel of a T5, but I don't think a stock T5 would fare well behind a healthy 363. Certainly the Magnum is the more robust solution, hoping an A5 will suffice in this application. I've read that many are very happy with theirs.

Thanks for the info, I may have my own set of problems but I know it and maybe made the bad choices.
So for the Hormonic Balancer I went with a Innovator West (light weight)
Then a Mcleod Aluminum Flywheel (Light weight)
Then the McLeod's RXT Street Twin clutch
This may cause me problems with how steerable the clutch feels. We will see. As I have driven a standard for years I don't think it will be a problem for me to learn and never even notice. But if not I will change it out to a heavier Flywheel and that should fix the problem.

I never use anything but an aluminum flywheel, you'll have no issues with that. The engine will make tons of torque, way more low RPM power than my track car, and I use an aluminum flywheel in that (Spec clutch and 3.73 rear gears). There is still plenty of rotating mass in your powertrain.

The .5 6th gear ratio is great for 90+ speeds with my 3.73 gears, don't be afraid to gear her accordingly. 4.10s or even lower would probably work well for a straight line car.
