That is very cool to see in person. My girlfriend and I watched one out here in Texas a few months ago. It was hunting for fish, awesome to watch it hover then dive. It was too far away to get any pics. Thanks for sharing!

One of those Bell/Boeing Ospreys flew over the house a while back. Things are LOUD. I thought it was a couple of Chinooks at first, never saw them, then behind me flew an Osprey.

Did see a Juvenile Eagle swooped down to fetch a small trout that was camped out near the surface of 48 degree (F) water. Poor picture, I am aware. It was foggy. I seen it sitting up in the tree eyeing something that was maybe 30 foot from where my boat was, I grabbed the phone to take a pic and by time I got the phone turned "on", it was already coming in for the kill. See it often there. Eagles live alongside the river year round. I have had them take fish that I'd caught and released right next to the boat but that's not all they eat. I've seen plenty eating road kill too.

Seen some Osprey nesting in South Florida a couple years ago. Stayed & watched them a while. They are kinda loud for predatory birds but real pretty.

V22s are way-capable, but man are they ever expensive.

Can you imagine if we had those in WW2 on D-Day? The Germans would see them approaching and give up on the spot.
