In the event your turn signals don't work and this is why you wanted the multi function switch and if replacing it it does not fix the problem be sure to check the flasher thats mounted behnd your glovebox. I purchased a switch today not knowing about this "hidden" flasher and sure enough that sucker was my problem all along..
im buying it because of a running light issue, i have to do the ole half on half off trick. i dont have fog light, and havent in a few years, so that is not the cluprit. after doing to wire chasing i found an alarm hooked up to the power line to the head light switch. i took it out and replaced the head light switch as well as the plug. that didnt fix the problem so i replaced the dimmer switch. once again i still had the problem so i replaced the ignition switch, still no luck. the last item on the list of things it could be would be the multifunction switch. low and behold, last week the turn signal quit on me. if this dont fix the problem im rewiring this mess ford calls a harness.
thanks for the help though, the turn signal isnt my worry. car isnt driven on the street much, but i do need to have my running/tail light to work to go to the track.
