Question Extrude honed

Where can i get this done, how much will it cost and how much RWHP is it worth? Because i'm having a hard time seeing myself unloading $1500+ for a PHP intake.
thanks Joel

From my understanding the 96-98 Cobra's intake doesn't have enough runner thickness to do anything over a slight smoothing. Plus, I don't know of any place that can do the 96-98 intakes because of their shape. I may be wrong so someone correct me if I am. Also I don't think that you would see much of a RWHP gain (maybe 5hp) by just having the extrude hone done. Just my $.02

96 Ford Cobra, PHP Stage 2 intake, All the bolt-on's, SVO Ceramic Headers, Bassani Off-Road X-pipe, Borla XR-1's, and The New 4.56's are in!

I agree. I don't think you would get the results you're looking for with extrude honing. What about a Lon Hill intake? Or having your stock one P&P? Just some suggestions.

Do a search on the intake topic and you should find some pretty interesting info. Blown46Cobra would be a good "Username" to search for also. He has modified a stock intake to perform as well if not better than the PHP intake.

Good luck.
