Not that my opinion counts, but what about those "bullet" holes like on the website. And definitely get a 99+ car in there! Otherwise it is cool.

Ditto on the 99+ Mustang. Gotta move on to the newer body style sooner or later, it's only been out for over two years.

The thought behind the T shirt design was that there is no bigger rivalry than the Dave/Joe Race.
If there was a JR/John race that would be the theme. It really kind of symbolizes what the shootout is all about (Excitement, performance, hype, and smack talk)

Also, I had no 99 and up's with the wheels up like the ones I had. There also licencing issues with Pictures that I do not have since I am selling these Tshirts.

Hate to beat a dead horse here but it does need a 99+ body on there. But where can I get one if I cannot make it down there?

Dave, if you already had the design decided upon, and you want to showcase King and Stewart at the Shootout, then you should have just said so. Why even ask for input when you have no intention of representing the case for Modular, just the case of King vs. Stewart.

Besides that, I am sure other people are more than willing to sign a release for photos of their cars.

No offense Joe, but nope...Tymenskys are cool guys, work hard, have a badass N/A car, but are not even close performance wise. It really does not matter to me otherwise. And this should not be billed as a Stewart VS. King deal.

Joe, please don't say it is so! I know Dave's attitude toward people who don't run as quick as he, but not you!

How is running mid 9s Naturally Aspirated in a Modular Motor NOT Fast?? I mean are we actually defining a number that qualifies as fast? If so, what is it, just so we can all know just how slow people are?!?

WTF is that statement. They have the fastest N/A Modular and thats a class in the shootout hows that not matter??? Your in the minority when it comes to performance, you have an awesome car, but most of us are still in the double digit ET range. I think we should count.

Hey guys lets not get into a pissing contest. I'll see if I can do a few revisions.

I asked for input because I wanted to see if it was the best. I'll try to come up with something.

Cool the jets.

Joe again let me try to explain this one more time. The shootout t shirt was designed to keep grudge matches in mind. (Performance, awesome heads up matchups, and smack talk) What better grudge match than King/Stewart this year? I could be wrong, if I am please except my appoligizes. The shootout isnt billed as a KING/Stewart Weekend, but I was trying to do imaging that best represented what the weekend was about.

Like I said, I put this up to get input and feedback. I appreciate all feedback and I'd like to make the shirt better. Let me see what I can do based upon the feedback I got on this post.

I think the shirt looks great Dave. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make this year's Shootout or not (still workin' out those vacation days) but I'll definitely get a shirt.

Question - Isn't the new SSO car from True Blue Performance (Haywood?) a mod motor car? I don't suppose that this car is showing up, is it? Seems like he / they are in a position to be the fastest and quickest mod motor SSO car and wouldn't that solve the body style debate on the shirt?

Nope, I did not say it was not fast, please don't put words in my mouth. I said performance wise compared to the above (1300BHP compared to 700BHP) . No slight meant towards anyone. I'm not in this 'debate' nor do I want to be. There are many cars/people that deserve reconigition but that is not what this is about (I think )

Ok. No pics of a 99+ to put on there? I am sure you could play with photoshop and make one look like it. Maybe a shot of a 99+ from the front, faded to the background.

Love the shirt design. Would be even better with a 99+ on it. I'd buy one regardless.

Sorry Joe, I didn't mean to get you all bent up!

I thought the purpose of building a Race Car, was to try to go fast. If I would have known that is was just the most hp on the dyno, I would not have even brought the point up.

Either way, I guess it doesn't matter. I am just one of the cranky, slow NA 2V owners, who don't have a spot in this weird ass pseudo-Caste system here in the Mustang world.

Back to the daily driver...

Joe, I actually can't believe you said that! Do actually think that you are above everyone else? I'd like to see you take off your blower and step up to the plate! Until then, don't compare blown horsepower to raw horsepower.

This is getting very interesting And for the guy that asked about Randy's TB car... Yes it will be there, yes it will be one of the fastest cars there, and yes it would constitute a 99+ car being near the top of the "hill." But the T-shirt design is for Dave and his guys to determine. Hell, I don't care who is on the shirt or what bodystyle Mustang it is, I'm just pumped about getting to be there with my slowass car

Why did I open my mouth? You know what I meant Mike. I have nothing but respect for you guys, you know that. As for taking off the blower, my setup is not geared towards N/A, you know this also. But I could make it that way

Dave, sweet design. I like the idea of going with the King/Stewart rivalry, that's the kind of thing that the Mod shootout is all about. There is one thing I dont really like and its the smoke coming off the rear wheels of two cars doing wheelies. It reminds me of the cheesy scene in the fast and the furious. Other than that it's a nice shirt design.
