Question Newbie 5.4 questions

Please help a new guy out:

I would like some info on 5.4 engines.

-are the truck and car 5.4 the same?

-do the truck 5.4's have good rods and steel crank?

-what is the power output of these compared to the 351W?

Thanks

There is no car 5.4, except for the 00 Cobra R. Rods are forged powdered metal (not good for high performance). Crank is cast.

Power output is comparable to the 351W, although the 351 had been in production since 69 and came equipped with several different heads, at least two different deck height blocks, and 2 bbl, 4 bbl, and EFI induction, so power varied somewhat over the years.
