Question Bullitt intake swap

Quick question from an ignorant pushrod motor guy:

Is the Bullitt intake a direct bolt-on for a 2000 GT?

I have a small crack in starting on my plastic intake on my daily driver, and I was going to try to talk Ford into replacing it with the Bullitt if I drop the extra cash vs. the cast stocker when they replace it under warranty.

I figure it will be easier to talk them into it if it doesn't involve a million small modifications to swap it on.

Has anyone done this swap? Was it worthwhile?

Sorry if this has been asked before.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Joe Correia.

On a 99-00 GT it is not a direct intake swap. Your gonna need a bunch of other parts to get it to work, I think the average running part list is about 35 line items plus/minus some modifications. There are numerous threads on swap and what parts are needed.

I can tell you now the dealer won't go for it. Doug(vrtical) is correct there are 34 line items. However, you really only need about 25 of them. If you want a complete list email me and I will shoot you the list, and instructions for an install? Later Ron
