MSD rpm pills?

Are these pills the same (other than rpm)? They all look different.
Will they still work?
(the middle one is MSD not shure of the other two)

Allso what pill should I use for my window switch for my nitrous? I normally shift about 6800, but I couldn't find on I have 6600, 7000. I dont want to miss a shift and over rev it!

they don't look like they're autometer first of all. Secondly the one on the right is a 6600 rpm pill, not 0099. as far as the window for spray, sorry can't help ya there.

Shifting at 6800? Do you mean 5800? Because the rev limiter unless you have an extender on the 4.6 kicks in at 6000 per Steeda Racing and a few others I talked too. Beside the 4.6 naturally aspirated stops making power up that high. Most tell ya to shift that motor around 5000-5200. On nitrous you should never run it below 3000 to be safe and dont get a 6000 pill and think the nitrous will shut off in time for the rev limiter. Go with 57-5800 pill for top end. Good luck. If this is your first nitrous kit or at least 1st window switch do some seaching on those terms an make sure you know everything there is to know before you run it. Ounce of prevetion is worth pounds of cure!. Good luck

PS I would go to ebaymotors or performance site and drop a bill for some trusty pills. Those look shadey and I would want somthing I could trust!

It looks like you have different pills from different manufacturors. They are probably all fine, but you could test with a VOM to be sure.

I'd get a 6800 pill myself, or an adjustable one.

Look guys I hate to say it but if you have a modular motor and no RPM extender you have never hit 6800. The tach needle was mechanicly forced there but the rev limiter cuts the fuel at 6250 rpms and if your still running a 6800 RMP pill then you dont even need a window switch because KABOOM!!!!. At the RPMs the motor turns you need to turn off just a little in advance of 6250 because there is a little delay while the ciruit is cut. Again running any pill above 6000 is worth less for a window switch on this motor. Besides the power band when using power adders also drops at 6000 per dyno sheets on the motors, so you shifting that high is actually costing you time on your E/T . You want to shift at 5200 or so N/A and 58 on nitrous!.

There's just a little bit of difference between the 2V and 4V engines

I use a 6800 pill....

ummm you do notice he had a cobra right??? They turn up 7K pretty easy. And if you have a chip like I do. I had my rev limiter bumped up to 7500. Didnt notice till it was too late. No problems though!

Yea I would put a 6800 pill in it for your top end window switch. Looks like they will all work but like stated above. I would get a meter and check them. It should be a resistance thing. So it will go up in multiples. Just not sure what they use. Good luck!

My bad, I didnt look that he had a cobra, just new this was a modular car so I always assume GT. Go ahead have fun, and I say it must be nice to get that much top end . I have just become overly jumpy like some kind of defender to Nitrous newbies, because there are alot of people out there giving bad advise on it.- guess since I didnt read the post that makes it me this time LMAO
