I was driving the other day and hit the gas just a bit but my Mustang Surged forward faster than it has EVER before. It hasn't done this before, and hasn't done it since. Any Ideas? Wierd huh?

Thumbs up got a good grip

i think what happened is that you hit a good spot in the road and hooked up... usually when i take off hard i spin alittle but last saturday it was stinkin hot and i was at a stop light after a long ride and just decided to giv'er hell and the tires grabbed the road really good... i wish i could hook like that at a good day at the track.. i bet i could cut a 1/4 second off my e.t.'s

hmm. maybe. It was wierd, the rpms jumped up and the car heaved forward and threw me back in the seat. It makes me REALLY want that 99+ head swap and ATI PSC-1 w/ intercooler.

oh well, wishful thinking.
Thanks everyone. I was just curious if anyone else experienced it.
