Last time I talked to someone at Magnaflow they didn't have a catted X for a 97 cobra. If that has changed count me in on the X gp.

Hope that helps. I ordered on a Monday and had the kit on Thursday of the same week. Full Line Exhaust would be your best place to check out for a possible GP on this stuff, since they are already beating everyone's GP prices with their REGULAR prices.

Good luck. BTW, 3.5" tips don't look as big as I thought they would. They dwarf my 2.5" tips on my 88 5.0, but they look right at home on my cobra.
I was actually getting ready to order a magnapack system from full line this week. I will be in on the GP if the price beats full line.

Damn, a week too late! I got my magnaflows last week. Unfortunately the damn things don't fit exactly around my fuel cell, so I ended up putting turn-downs right after the mufflers. But its loud as hell....sounds good. I've also got a Bassani catted X-pipe. I previously had 3-chamber flowmasters and the very noticeable "2k drone". None of that with the magnaflows. I'll probably end up getting some pipes made later to fit around my fuel cell, but for now it'll have to do.

Good luck with the GP

Thumbs up

Count me in for a Magnaflow catback if you have success with the price. Full Line is tough to beat, but I'm sure it's possible.

update

I should be getting prices today and then I will get it approved.
Full line might be tough to beat on the catback, but their x-pipe price is pretty bad. I'll keep you posted.

Why not include the FOX body crowd the more kits sold the lower the price right?

I want one for the Cobra but I need one for my 89 LX let me know if you can work this.

Later,

I spoke to Ray at Full Line 2 weeks ago trying to set up a GP for the Magnaflow X w/cats and the Price was Horrible. The Guys at Houston Performance beat Full Lines GP Price.

If you do set up an X Pipe GP I would definately be in and I know of a few People from Eastcoaststangs.com that would be in as well.
Let me know

Yup...also interested if you can beat full line exhaust. I just e-mailed them and I was quoted $310 + shipping...probably like they said above, $330 shipped.

So I say maybe $300-315 shipped would be a good deal. Then you could most likely count me in.

Is there any possiblity of getting JUST prices for the MagnaPACK mufflers too, without the whole catback set up?

The only reason I am asking is their tailpipe system, in my OPINION, looks like ASS on the 94-98 Stangs due to the rear valance not hiding the rest of the pipe AFTER their hokey 3" tip...

UNLESS - they do have a nice Stainless Steel set up like the Flowmaster tailpipes for the 94-98's????? Anyone have any ideas?

pwrhungry - Do you work for Full Line or are you just trying to screw up this GP? If this GP goes through, we will beat Full Line.
Also, consider this:

If you buy it from Full Line, that's it, period. You got your exhaust cheap. Nothing else if gained.

If you buy it from my guy, he will be doing a lot more GP's for a variety of things. We just got done doing a Corbeau GP and everyone was happy. If this one goes well, the GP's will keep coming.

So, what I'm saying is, buy it from my guy, and he will be hooking us up with GP's for a long time. Buy it from Full Line, and you might not see any more GP's from my guy.

Doing something for the greater good, isn't that what we are all about?

So does that mean that pricing info has been finalized? If so, when is the GP going to be approved?

No it is not finalized. I'm should hear something today. Right now it looks like we will be able to beat any price out there, but my source is still working on it. This is not for sure. Once I hear something, I'll post.

No I do not work for them! I just ordered mine monday because I did not want to be on back order for months to save $10 dollars. I am not trying to ruin it just want fellow stanges to get the best deal possible. Is that not the point of a group purchuse or are you getting a special deal?
