Me vs. 96 Impala SS??? What is the outcome.

We are both basically stock, me because I have to keep my warrenty and him cause he is an a'hole and just thinks his car bad a$$ off the lot. Who would win, or what would this race look like? I really hate this guy!

Iam trying to get him to the track, beacuse I no longer support road racing.

Lets see
He has a mid to low 15 second car
you have a low 14 to high 13 second car.

I think you will win.

you'll kill him dude. I "played" with one on the parkway near my house and every single time, we'd both hit it from a roll and I'd pull away from him. One time he got a jump on me and I still pulled on him. They are really heavy cars! BTW, this was when my car was stock.

Good Luck,
Mike

Trust me. Don't sweat this at all. My last car was a 96 Chevy Impala SS. Even if he had mods you're going to take him.

Speaking from experience here.. Off the line the SS will hook pretty quick and get a good shot out of the hole. After it hits 2nd gear it's over. If you guys are running from a dead stop and you have a 5 speed don't dump the clutch and spin. Just come out of the hole like granny to get your traction and then at your leisure just punch it and wave bye bye to him..

IMHO it's not even a race!

P.S. If you do it from a roll.. All I gotta say about his chances are..

You will spank him, especially if he's stock. Those cars are like my bird, you have to do some major crap to them to get em running right. That's why you see most of the enthusiasts with these cars either putting them up in a garage or going with a 383. I ran a stock one at the track in my bird with the 95 4.6 engine, 4.10's, chip, and a Mark VIII torque convertor and beat him twice. Whoop that *** and watch out on the street.
