Question Interior Door panels Questions

It appears that the door panels in my 01 GT are two pieces one upper and one lower. What irks me is that the top of my dash is charcoal and the bottem is gray. Where one would think that the two tone theme would continue through the doors, I have solid grey doors.

So my question is: Can I buy the upper portion of the door panel in Charcoal and swap them out?

It's 3 pieces: the arrow-like panel around the buttons/switches, the small cup around the handle, and the main panel.

You could always paint them. Check with a good body shop on that.

I had the same situation as you, as my car sounds exactly like yours. Here's my solution (what I did). Go to Ford, and order dark charcoal window switch panels, and dark charcoal door handle cups. It helps to make the door panel from looking so bland, without having to pay an arm, a leg, and a shlong to do so, as the big panel itself is HIGH. Anyways, hope this helps. Check the link in the sig, and you might be able to see a pic. Not for sure.

you can get vinly dye at the auto store and paint them. Heck, that's that ford does anyways to get other colors such as that hideous maroon that they had several years ago.

OR

back in 95,96,97 or something, they actually offered two tone door panels that where black on top and grey on bottom. You can call stangparts and they should have them, but then your rear inside quarter panels won't match.

I was in the same dilemma as you. I just painted my door windows switch panels and door handle panels black. Looks a hell of alot better. Or you can just buy black ones from the dealer.

I have the Charcoal Window Switch panel. I was looking for the top section. I was going to color match my window switch panels and shifter bezel area to body color.
