Anyone ever paint there stock valve covers???

I'm considering doing something like painting the valve covers, as I really don't think they would be able withstand the heat of getting baked if I had them powdercoated. I was just checking to see if anyone has painted theres, or done anything similar to this to their stock valve covers???

If so, what did you use to get the valve covers ready, and how did you do it??? Also, did you just use high-temp engine paint on them??? Thanks!!!
