96 GT is sick!!!

Hi all, well I got my TNT nitrous kit installed finally, but I have a problem, when I installed the power ring it made my inlet tube to the throttle body longer. NO problem right. Well the tube that comes from the drivers side valve cover to the intake tube was not long enough so I plugged the holes up. Now my car after warming up has a funny squawking sound every now & then. I reset the computer. It worked for about 30 minutes, my question is this. Do I need that tube? I can make it fit if I have to have it, but I always thought it was just there to help with start the car when it was cold. I guess I may be wrong. Anyone else remove it & have this problem. I am about ready to trade the d#$% car in on a Ws-6. I am tired of everytime I something is fixed that it runs funny. I now have my TNT kit on with 75 hp jets & I can't use it.... As always please help me out. I am stupid & tired.. Thanks for reading.

So try stretching the tube, or buy a length of tube from an autoparts store, for pete's sake.

Some hostility here huh? Why even bother to post if you are going to be a smart @$$? I was just wanting to know if the tube was important. After all it isn't hooked upi when you switch to a CAI...

Yeah, I would make an extension on the tube and hook it back up. That should make things right again. Make sure you have no air leaks too.
