pics of new Konig Villain wheels

First off, Maximum Motorsports is the best aftermarket car company I have ever delt with. They are the one and only entry on my suspension supplier list for the mustang.

Konig Villain Wheel

Inside shot of wheel

Wheel installation kit $24.95

Now I need ideas on tire brands and sizes.

I am considering 275x40 on all four wheels. What do you all think about drivabilty with 275's on the front? Should I bother with 295's on the rear?

Wheel brands: Nitto street tires (555R), maybe kuhmo, maybe bridgestones

Help me out here.

P.S. these look a whole lot like "Steeda" Ultralites. Me-thinks steeda just sources center caps and decals for Konig wheels.

Now that I see a close up, they sure do look like Steeda Ultralights...I like the sticker on the spoke better though, and the price is much better...

Don't know what to tell you on the tires though, the 275/40s would be good out back, but I've heard the drivability of them up front kinda sucks...but then again, the new 03 cobras have 275/40's all around...I'm stuck between the BFG KDW's and the Nitto 555's...the Nittos are cheaper but I heard the BFG's hook like a mug for street tires!

Do yourself a favor, for get about the Nittos. I had 285/40 17s on the rear and they sucked. The tires were to unpredictable, sometimes they would stick and other times they felt like I was driving on powder. I would get the Potnezas ARE-730s. I currently have the G-foce tire on the rear, they both stick well. I would have went back with the Pontenza but the BFG were cheaper.

I will agree about the KDW's hooking very good for a street tire. My last tires (255/50/16 on the stock wheels) would spin bad if I launched above 1200 rpm at the track. I went out with the G-force KDW tires (245/45/17 on the new polished '01 Cobra wheels) and launched at 1800 and it bogged bad. I tried at 2200 rpm and it was just the right amount of traction (barely spun, more like a slight screech). I would recommend these tires to anyone.
