Need Advise for a 01 GT Mods

I just purchased a Demo 01 GT Vert (Zinc Yellow 2000 Miles) and had the following modifications made.

Magnaflow X-Pipe w/Cats
Steeda Pulleys
3.73 Gears
CAI
Custom Chip from Houston Performance

Once these modifications were made I had Houston Performance Dyno tune the car. The results were 253.5 rwhp and 296.5 max torque. Considering that a 01 GT stock is about 219 rwhp I thought this was pretty good. Are my assumptions correct? I am new to this and trying to learn.

With this said I am trying to determine what my next modifications should be without going to blower route at this time. Suggestions would be much appreciated. I am already thinking of putting in a good shifter and subframe connectors however, when it comes to HP I am lost.

Thanks.

Since you have a chip it probaby advances you timing so save the money. The next things to do are LT headers and a catback.

SilverStallion,
Yes. The MagnaFlow is much louder than the stock exhaust on a 01 GT and you can diffenantly hear it when you give it some gas. However, it is a little metallic.

I went with the MagnFlow mufflers, straight through verses the chambered, because I did not want a lot of droning while I was cruising. With a convertible this would get alittle annoying for a daily driver. There is some droning however, it is a tolerable level. I would imagine with the three chambered MagnaFlow (I think they are called MagnaPaks) mufflers you would get a deeper rumble and much more noticeable sound.

The main reason I went with the MagnaFlow full stainless steel exhaust (cats and X-Pipe) verse the Bassani was the price difference. I think you are paying more for the Bassani name brand than anything else however, I could be wrong.

BTW. I added 23 rwhp with the MagnaFlows.

Thanks,

As stated above. I would like to know how much sound I will be gaining with my Flowmasters over the stock h-pipe.

didn't dyno LT's seperately - if NA then it is an option - but if you are SC - you really need 'em!
