Magnaflow catback & Fuel Cell...fitment issues?

Well I got the Magnaflow catback in the mail today. Proceeded to cut off the flowmasters and install the setup. Well, it is being a bit of a pain to fit around my Fuel Safe tank (the R one I believe). Has anyone ever installed a Magnaflow catback with one of these tanks in place? I just can't get the pipe to fit around the corner of the tank. I could just leave off the pipes and put dumps behind the mufflers, but I would rather have the pipes. Any advice???

Thanks,
Pig

Cool

I installed a MAC 3" Cat Back on my dad's GT which has the fuel safe and 315's. I did have to massage (i.e. beat the **** out of) the pipe to get it to clear. I don't have any experience with the Magnaflows they may be routed just differently enough to cause a problem.

Good Luck,
Gabe

I think you are going to have a problem. The stock fuel tank is rounded on the edges. You may have to take it to a muffler shope and have them make some tailpipes to fit your application. Or maybe massage your existing tailpipes.
