Exclamation Cobra Brake Rotors

I have a '99 GT w/ the 35th Anniv. package. I love the Bullitt brake calipers and have purchased them for my Stang. Now I need the rotors.

[color=darkblue]What are the best rotors I should get for around $150ea?[color]

Money is a consideration here.

Thanks

Why don't you just get the 13 inch Cobra cross drilled rotors from www.gefracing.com for $199 for the pair?

ditto... $73 ea. for 99+ Cobra (Brembo spec) rotors. I got a pair for my '96 Cobra - and they are great! Also, diskbrakesrus's service is outstanding. I would not hesitate to do business with them again (and I'm sure I will). They sell pads and calipers too - so you may be mad when you see their prices on calipers. I don't know if they have the Bullitt calipers, but the have Cobra calipers without the "COBRA" lettering on them (and also WITH the lettering of course).

Good Luck,

I paid $300 delivered for a set of 4 Cobra rotors. These rotors are cross/drilled and slotted and also zinc washed. I just finished putting them on my car today and they look great. I got them from www.raceconcepts.net. Their website says they are more expensive but if you email them you will get a better price.

Good luck,
Pete

if you want stopping power and durability get a plain rotor...if you want the looks then go with cross drilled and slotted...

HalM, I think you are right. I just put in FRPP Cobra brakes up front and they are very good. Stock discs. The edges and around the hubs are painted gray. I don't expect to see much rust, if any.

What does the zinc wash do for you? Keep the rust down?

The zinc washing makes the rotors a different color and also helps them to never rust.

Gidde Up, I live just up the road from you in Granite Falls. I can email you a picture of Cobra R brake rotors on my car with red calipers that I got from GEF for less than $200 a pair if you are interested.
