Where do you put the gear oil in 8.8

Just noticed the gasket needs to be replaced on rear-end cover. I thought something smelled funny. After you replace the gasket, where is the filler hole for the rear-end? How much fluid should I put in, and what type? Figures, I am getting 4.10's put in next week, and I have to replace the damn gasket today!!

I don't remember the amount, but your owners manual should say. The fill hole is in the front, just to the drivers side of the pinion snout, about half way up and recessed into the differential. It comes out with a 3/8th raquet extension.
