After getting a little dirty...finally figured out i had stock 2.73 gears, now what??

I have the 23 tooth that steeda installed for me to go with my 3.73 gears. Should i leave it in and just get the speed-cal? Or should i put in a different tooth gear and then let the speed-cal do the rest?

I've seen a few posts about 23 tooth gears "shredding" so this is why i am asking.

lol......im not trying to sound like an ass or anything but DO NOT use the speedo gear. Get a speedcal and keep the stock speedo gear in place. Plus, with the speedcal, you can reprogram it anytime to compensate for tires/wheels/gears.

Put in 410's if you are doing heads, 373 if you are keeping stock heads.

Question

No crap?! I have 3.73's with the 23 tooth speedo gear too..I haven't installed either yet but soon. Can a speed cal be done for pre 99 GT's?

Great. Now I have to go back to the shop that did my gear install and 23 tooth and ask them to put the stock one back in so I can get a SpeedCal when this puppy shreds?
