My Window broke, This ever happened to you?

I put my window down, then later went to put it back up, it wouldn't go up, pressed it a couple times, still not going up. Then I press down, I hear a loud thud, and then press up again, now it just makes a clicking noise, so I press down again, and it goes pop, pop, Shatter.... WTF

Under Warranty so it is at the dealer

LByellowStang it is too hard to fix ....I tried my hand and arms are too big. You broke one of the window track slides. $250 and Ford fixed mine.

sorry

same thing happened to me

Same thing happened to my 98GT. I took it to the dealer twice. The first time they fixed it (Birmingham), no charge. Second time it happened, (different dealer, in Tampa) they said it would be costly, but then that weekend, 5 more Mustangs came in with the same problem, so they only charged me $50 under the "Ford Good Neighbor" Policy or something like that.

Mine had the extended warranty and I think they were trying to tell me it wasnt covered until all those other Mustangs showed up with the same thing.

Yep! Get it into the dealership. Your warranty will cover it.

My 2001 GT did something very similar when it was 3 months old. The drivers door went down about 1/2 way one day when I tried opening it. And when I went to close it, it took forever and started clicking etc. I took my time and eventually got it closed completely. If I tried to put it down it would go about .5" and the click like mad going back up. It was under warranty and luckily the glass didn't break. I thought I read somewhere that a lot of 2001s are doing this.
