There are two different valve spring compressors used for the 4V.

One of them is the same as used for the 2V, it's PN begins with T91P-.

I am not sure the other Cobra VSC will work on the 2V, it's PN begins with T93P-

I can try later tonite when I get home.

Dwayne,

The Cobra & MK VIII Intake Valve Spring Compressor (PN T93P-6565-A) has a pin and clip to release the press so it can be rotated from side to side. The springs have to be approached from the side, since the spark plug towers are in the way.

The Cobra & MK VIII Exhaust Valve and 2V Intake and Exhaust Valve Spring Compressors (PN T91P-6565A) are the same and approach the valve spring head on.

Looking at the heads of both 4V and 2V 4.6's, I think you might be able to use either compresssor on the 2V.

One thing for SURE, the 2V compressor cannot be used for the 4V Intake.

Hope this helps.

Dave
