Any problems with Lowering 97 Cobra with 18inch rims

I have the 18inch 2000 Cobra R's and I want to lower the car 1.5".

I have 285/35 Nittos all around.

Tight fit , I've had to roll the lips of the rear fenders and install rack limiters on the front.

I'm only running a 275/35 18 so I didn't have to roll the fenders. But I did use the Steeda steering rack limiters to keep the wheel from rubbing the swaybar .

My car rubs the sway bar on tight turns.

I guess I will look into to it more.

I'm running BBS RK wheels. No problem (even with front Griggs stuff moving wheels forward and out a little) with front 18X8.5" with 25MM offset (about 5 3/4" BS) with 245X40X18 tires. On rear 18X10 with 20 MM offset (about 6 3/8" BS) with 285X35X18 tires, if I were lowered more than the rear 95 R spring drop of 1 1/4", I would have a problem with wheel well rim.
