new triple pickup quadrant weirdness... Help!

I just installed a new UPR triple quadrant and cable.

My pedel effort is way more than it use to be. I mean, this is serious! It really takes a lot of pounds to push in the clutch. It also only takes about 1" to 1 1/2" to fully engage the clutch. is this right? I have played with the new firewall adjuster to no avail. Also, what does the other pickups do? I am on the last pickup.

Thumbs up

Go back to your stock cable. The same thing happend to me when i did the quadrent change, So I went back to the stock cable and everything went away and the pedal effort was even less then the stock quad. Hope this helps any.

if you are using the last, longest pickup point then you have less leverage than the first point.
