2013 GT500 tune results!

Diablosport is pleased to share our 2013 G500 tune results!

The good guys at the Audio Advisors were kind enough to loan us their brand new GT500 for some flogging on the dyno. Thanks!
The car lived up to its hype by laying down a ridiculous 575 rwhp/612 ft/lbs, bone stock.
The torque curve is massive, bone stock its making 500 ft/lbs before 2500 rpm...

With just the addition of the newly created Diablo tune for the GT500, we saw gains of 43 rwhp and a peak of 615 rwhp/638 ft/lbs.

Throttle response is improved, power gains show up everywhere....this thing is awesome.

Heres the dyno results:

We'll be retuning once a CAI and pulley are added, and offering those tunes to anyone who would like them in our Trinity and inTune devices.

Thanks!

Not in Louisiana, that's for sure! Every dealer I spoke to said $60k is the lowest they go without ttl. He said simply, "It's SVT and new."

What gas octane rating is being used? Just wondering since us left siders in CA can only get 91 from our pumps.

Thanks!
How would this work for those of us who can't get to you? Do you sell a swap out PCM or just add your tune to our PCM? It looks very promising!

Also, will this raise fuel octane requirements?

Thanks,
Tom

curious as to why the HP and TQ don't intersect at the same RPM between the two graphs posted?

They do, but instead of torque and HP being different colors, they're both red for the stock pull and black for the tuned pull. Confusing.

right, but on one graph they intersect at 4850 rpm and the other they intersect 5250 rpm, like they should

No, they don't intersect at different points. The two red lines, which purportedly represent "stock" torque and hp, intersect at the same RPM as the two black lines, which represent "recorded" torque and hp. The bigger question is why both sets of lines intersect at 4850 instead of 5250.

I think he meant first graph (5252) vs second graph (4850).

I'm not accusing anyone of anything but I think this might be a software bug AND I think it might effectively be changing the output so that 1 HP != 1 HP.

For instance:
500 TQ * 5000 RPM/4850 = 515 hp
500 TQ * 5000 RPM/5252 = 476 hp

Very strange.

They do intersect at 5252, it just doesnt appear that way because they Hp and Tq are scaled differently. Look where 600 is on the left (Tq) compared to right (Hp)

Nice numbers! Any more updates/new numbers?

Yup. I thought there was something amiss, but once you pointed that the scales are different, it looks like they would cross at the same rpm.
