Fuel guage question

Wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. Gas guage seems to take a long time to come down even though I have been driving it pretty hard. After fill up I can go about 100 miles and the guage reads 2 lines or so from full. Seems like it should be dropping lower. It has a new fuel system including gas tank ,fuel guage sender , fuel pump etc. Any ideas? Picture below is guage position after 108 miles of backroad/ highway mix.
Thanks

Is it close to empty on the gauge after that?

Update. I filled up the car last night. The guage was reading 1 line BELOW half and it took 10.9 gallons to fill it. Miles traveled on that tank was 160. So only 4 gallons left at 1 line BELOW 1/2. Seem normal?

stock tank is 15.4 gal

if your gauge is near 1/3 then it is close to being correct

you should drive till you get the low fuel lite on then fill er up, and check
