Finding the right size belt

Just a tip I don't know if anyone has posted this before but,,,,,,
Some time when you make modifications the new belt size can be tough to figure out. I was the junk yard and bought a really long belt and cut it into. I use this to find out what size I need I use vice grips to hold the two overlapping ends together. When I get just the right size I mark it and measure it. Presto perfect fit

Best way of measuring belt size is with string. Then I go get 3 belts of various lengths, return all 3, then get pissed I can’t measure for ####.

I usually repeat this process 2 additional times.

Then I get the correct length. Easy
