is there a way of making a sticky with a list of the buyers and what area they would be willing to cover to look at or ship parts for uslist things such as how far they are willing to travel, how much they will charge,or even if they go by a percentage of the price of the part your having them go look at for you.just trying to think of a way to make it easier to find someone to do it for you by just looking for them by state then city.

I am in Southeast Florida (miami/Ft.Lauderdale) area and wouldn't mind helping a fellow corral member with a purchase. long time ebay seller with 100% feedback rating. I found a good deal on an intake in Atlanta but my gut feeling tells me its to good to be true so i am staying away...unless there's someone in Atlanta

Major credit card through paypal, do NOT send money as a gift to avoid the fee, this disallows any paypal investigation and will probably do the same thing to your credit card since you legally sent the money as a "gift".

I had to go through this with some ######## a few years ago for a $500 part. Paypal gave me back $175 which is their max amount unless you buy insurance (eff that). 24 hours later, USAA had refunded the rest of the money into my account and their fraud department stated they were going to investigate the guy.

Money orders are not safe or secure, you'll get shafted eventually if you pay that way. Electronically you will always have some sort of transaction record so you should always do it that way unless paying cash in person after you have inspected your parts.

Should be easy enough to track IP address, then you don't have to worry about names. Create a database, then check it before you buy. And always use paypal. I wouldn't say I've gotten "burned," but I have received stuff that wasn't in the condition promised.
