What fuel rails to use with trick flow box R intake

What fuel rails can I use on my trick flow box R intake? I bought the BBK high flow kit back before I bought this intake so I tried them on my new engine today and the way the fuel pressure regulator fits on it it doesn’t clear the intake so that it can be mounted. Do you have to run trick flows rail kit only? Oh and this is on fuel injected 302 based engine in a foxbody just in case that’s not clear. Thanks for any help

92 performance red lx 5.0 1 5/8 BBK long tubes, 2.5” BBK X-pipe with cats, Borla stinger mufflers with 2.5” flowmaster tailpipes, C&L cold air kit, professional products 70mm TB, and SVE short throw shifter. Coming soon : Cobra intake, GT-40 heads w/crane 1.7 RR’s. Cam?? And Garrett turbo

@Stangman306 I know it's a late response and I sure you've already jumped into a set of rails, but I opted to use Edelbrock on my Box-R

Could you attach a pic so I can see how they look? Will the fuel pressure regulator fit on them and not hit the intake?

I can look for or take a few pic tomorrow if you like?

The car isn't at my house, which is possibly why it's taking so long to finish

Not really a fan of the mobile version of this site....... see images attached

I haven’t installed the regulator, but will be mounting it to the passenger side inner fender by the firewall, feeding both rails, and returning through the regulator there

I was hoping these rails had the availability to mount the regulator to them and clear the intake. I’d like to see it with the regulator mounted. Very clean a good looking engine by the way. What’s your setup?

It’s actually very similar to @Rock4451 as his build inspired an N/A stock bottom end build over a turbo one. There were only a few items different, I went with smaller 1 5/8” headers and a Trick Flow Box R with a 90mm TB.

The major difference is a SDS FI system with 47lb EV6 injectors which means MAF delete. I went with a catch can system, not sure if that’s different.

Both are TF 11R heads, TFS (Ed Curtis) spec custom cam, not sure what lifers Rock used but I have short travel Comp Cams with Comp Cams stainless steel roller rockers. Both have 3” exhaust, are T5, have electric water pumps, smog removed. I don’t know if Rock is manual steering/manual 4 wheel discs - mine now is.

It’s a very clean and good looking setup. I’ll be running all forged DSS level 20 331 stroker with edelbrock performer rpm heads, comp cams custom cam and trick flow box r intake with a Vortech SCI supercharger. Just have to get the fuel rails figured out and what injectors to run

I used the OEM rails with a slightly longer bolt and a small spacer on the area close to the regulator. It's tight but it fits and I haven't had any issues with vacuum leaks within the injectors O-rings due to the new angle some of them sit in. Think of the ones at cylinders 3 & 4.
