2013 mustang gt gas issue?

I have a 2013 gt with only 40,000 miles on it and have been driving it regularly with only 93 octane in it. Went to the store, drove fine, started it up to leave and it was hesitating and had no power. Halfway home, the check engine light came on and off several times. Got home checked fluids, ran a systems check and nothing? So decided to go fill it, running fine now, no warning lights. Should I take it to see if it stored a code or chalk it up to possible “ glitch” or bad gas and thank my lucky stars it started acting right?
