Triggering 2nd fuel pump Pro-m efi

So, I have a dual external fuel pump setup. I want to hook one pump up to a separate relay and trigger it via one of the programmable outputs when i'm above a certain load. I think I have it figured out on how to trigger on/off the pump but, i'm not sure what the difference between "active high" and "active low" is. Can someone explain this? Also, i'm thinking that I need to connect the output wire to the 12v switched input on the relay. Thoughts?

That's a good question. Just throwing this out there I know MDRacing makes a Fuel Pump Module that turns a second pump on when needed with MAF signal/some type of load table. Here's a link shoot him a email very nice guy to deal with

The programmable outputs control the ground side of the circuit.

"Active High" means that the component will be active when the circuit is not grounded (open). This setting is rarely used.

"Active Low" means that the component is activated when the circuit is grounded. This is the setting you want.
