MAF swap Help

Hey there i have a 93 5.0 with an aod and its speed density. Im in the process of switching to mass air however I have a question. I was wondering if anybody knew what would happen if i used a computer from a car or truck that had an aod-e or an e4od? Seeing as how the aod is all mechanical would there be any problems?

I'm guessing that you're talking about an '93 F-150?

My personal opinion (I did the conversion on my Bronco) is that it's not worth it unless you plan on doing mods down the road in which MAF makes tuning easier. I did the conversion to accommodate mods and help fuel economy...it wasn't worth the effort for fuel economy reasons alone.

If you do decide to do it, I have a ITS mass air kit with A9P that you need to do it (with instructions).

I upgraded to Pro-M EFI for my big stroker since I no longer needed the emission equipment functional.

i do plan on doing mods, ive got a cam and some other stuff set aside that i know wont work with the speed density set up. Any idea what you want for the A9P if youre looking to get rid of it?

I'm selling it as a kit and will sell for a reasonable price. Shoot me an PM if you're interested and we can talk.
