Tuning questions

I have a fox I'm building a 331 for. My buddy/shop owner who is overseeing the build wants to tune it, he's a good GM tuner for about 10years now. My question is, he would have to download the software and license the BE. I already have a moates chip already on the A9L, can it be reused/rewritten or is a new chip needed?

By f3 you mean the moates chip? So he needs something else to reprogram the chip. I'm thinking tuning this car should be left to people that are more knowledgeable in the fox platform. I think he would need to buy too many things to make it happen which will come out of my pocket, will be cheaper to go to a tuner with the knowledge and equipment needed.

you go to the moates site,

and find out what you need to reprogram the moates chip.

its pretty easy to find out, and they have the prices listed.

or find someone that has the equipment

Moates Jaybird will allow you to read and write an F3 chip.
