best tuning setup for 2-3 vehicles?
Ok, here is my problem. I have several ford EEC IV cars that are somewhat modified, and I would like a tuning system that I can use with each, with out spending my life savings on. First is my wife's car 95 GT Convertible, fresh 306 bottom end , Trickflow track heat HCI, 03 Cobra MAF & 39 lb injectors, BBK 75 MM throttle body, 4" straight aluminum CAI, w/airbox into fenderwell opening. A-5, 3:55 rears, Detroit locker. Car is not finished, so no need to worry about the engine management just yet. 2nd car is my now daily driver (since my wife totaled my 86 IROC 5 speed) 88 T-bird Turbocoupe. right now I have just some basic mods that I dont need a tune for yet, like t5 swap from automatic, gillis boost valve, CAI, but I want to do more like getting rid of the VAM, Changing the turbo from the IHI, to a T3-T4 hybrid, FMIC, bigger injectors, RR Cam, and a few other mods. My78 Cobra will be stand alone Holley Dominator to use with the 427 Dart from Woody, so I already know thats going to cost a fortune! I also just bought a 99 explorer Eddie Bauer 5.0, wrecked, just for the drive train, but it just had the trans, and transfer case rebuilt, so I might try and fix it up and drive it. I know its an EEC V but the tuning set ups all work with both right? Anyway, I looked at the Pimp from Stinger, since alot of the 2.3 turbo guys swear by them, I think around $700 a piece, any way I go, its going to cost me, so I would like to use the same set up on everything (except for the Holley, dont think I can afford to buy 4 of them) Thanks
Too many projects, not enough time, or $$$
