Where to buy A9L/A9M ECM?

First time poster here. I hope I'm not breaking any rules....

I have a 92.5 LX 5.0 vert manual with a bad ECM. One capacitor had leaked into the ECU, I replaced all three caps but no help. Original problem is that the fuel pump would not stop priming when the key was placed to "on" and spark was weak/intermittent. Fuel pressure checks ok. Car will not start now.

The car is bone stock and I'm coming up on my final emissions test for the state of GA. The problem is that Napa, Autozone, O'reilly, Advance, and Rock Auto are all out of stock. I've bought three reman Cardone 78-4352 ($250/$260/$280) on eBay only to be refunded my money and told they are "out of stock."

At this point, I'm not willing to send mine out to be repaired for fear that it was "lost in transit." I would like to get the car running before I get mine repaired. I don't feel like spending $400 on a unit that is used out of a running car.

Any ideas where I can get a ECU?

Garage
Where are you at? I'm near Forsyth GA down south of the airport by an hour. I have a few A9L's. I might be able to fix yours, if you didn't booger it up changing the cap. If a chip is fried, it may be junk. I might part with one of mine, but if yours is not a bad IC chip it can probably be fixed.

Thanks Tom, I might take you up on that (I work near the airport). I did manage to find a computer from Summit yesterday ($264). Those computers are like gold!

Thanks for the link, but all of the 5.0 ECUs are out of stock there.

Got the Cardone reman ECU from Summit today ($264). The whole unit was spray painted silver, but you could still see the A9L under the paint on the label. Stuck it in and it fired right up.
