I/M Monitors

I have saw a couple places on the net where people have said that Ford's Catalyst monitor requires that the EGR monitor become ready first.

Meaning that if the EGR is deleted and turned off in the tune so that it never becomes ready, the Catalyst monitor (despite having cats and good rear O2's) will never become ready.

I'm trying to get it so I only have one monitor not ready (currently CAT and EGR are not) and with EGR gone because of a blower, I figured I'd chase the Cat monitor. But I'm wondering if I am wasting my time and need to figure out a way to get the EGR monitor ready instead......

Anybody know anything about this?? Not many do.
