93 Sct tuned msd question

Hello, my 93 is tuned and runs great. It makes 11 pounds in this weather at 5500 rpm.

Can I take one of the programmable msd ignitions and control my timing or do I have to take it back to the tuner to get him to remove timing control from the chip?

I love the tune but, I want to be able to dial it back in the upper rpms. Up around 5 grand, I feel like my engine is going to jump out of the engine bay. Being a college student, I don't need that to happen

Timing is only going to be controlled within the chip , so you will have to get the tuner to retune the chip , best bet is to buy the switch cable and just have them add tunes to the chip so you can switch in between

Thanks man. You saved me some money. Guy wanted 300 bucks for the coil and ignition but I assume my 6al will throw enough spark.
