DOHC cpu

Are there any aftermarket computers that dont require a auxiliary ignition box (MSD). I would like to try something that is complete like the factory unit, however my car was a pushrod changed to mod motor.

Thanks
Jon

The MS3 can run a modular motor without a separate ignition controller; however, it does need separate ignition modules to use stock Ford coils. These are still under the control of the ECU, so you have a single point of tuning - it's not like running an MSD 6011 where the MSD box controls the timing.

Sounds like a pretty cool setup. You could give Pro-M Racing a call and ask about their Pro-M EFI system. They make custom harnesses for any application and the software is very user friendly. Do a search for Pro-M EFI and read about other people's success stories.

849rwhp and 771rwtq SAE
ProCharger D1 and Snow Performance Water/Methanol
Pro-M Racing EMS
