Chip burning and MAF sensor

I will be converting my car over to MAF and will have a chip burned and I have a couple questions to make sure I spend the money where it needs to go.
MAF sensor, does it need to be matched to the injectors 24maf - 24injector?
Since I'm having a custom tune done does the ECM matter as far as which one I get? I know it has to be MAF but should I still get a A9L ecm or any MAF ecm since I'm having a custom chip made?

no, the maf does not need to be matched to the injectors, in fact I ONLY recommend getting a "calibrated' MAF for 60lb injectors for the foxbodys despite your actual injector size

as long as the ecu is a MAF ecu from an 89-93 foxbody they are all the same hardware and can run the same chip no problem

check out the pre tune info for more in depth details
