Anyone run an XFI and TFI

Looking for someone running an XFI using the TFI distributor.
Question is when you look at your RPM graphs on logs is it a straight line of jagged/rippled..

Wondering if my module is doing this or ??

Thanks

Your RPM is going to have some ripple in it normally, this will be exaggerated when your RPM comes from the cam because the the nature of a timing chain allows the cam to wiggle some.

Which one is RPM?

Here's a shot of mine on TFI. The white line is RPM.

Yellow on mine.

I'd be happy with yours.

What type of TFI module are you running? I just got a Motorcraft one to see if it tames down the ripple.

To be honest I'm not sure if its motorcraft or aftermarket. I've since removed it in favor of a crank trigger but I can look around and see if I can find it.

Is your signal wire shielded and the shield grounded in only 1 place?

Its of the harness supplied by FAST.

Thinking of moving it to a heatsink and isolating it.. always something with a modded car

Is there any chance you're using the wrong active edge to trigger it?
