Red face Upgrade from Speed Density in 86 Gt....How involved?

Looking to find out what all is involved....which computer/ harness / parts needed? Is it worth it?

Pretty simple, add some pins to the computer, repin some wires that are already to the computer.

Youll need:

-A9L (preferably) or an A9P computer
-Mass air conversion harness (can be found for like $40 on eBay)(Comes with detailed instructions)
-Mass air meter


Just another slow mustang with a single turbo....

Not near that simple. Goin thru this on my 87. Looks like I gotta install 89 engine and o2 harness

Yes, nearly that simple, did it on my 86 many years ago. There is more than enough information out there to do it hassle free. Looks like you were told this in your own thread on it before this response.

Yes, it's fairly simple and works on any 86-88 SD car. No need to change harnesses.
