Aftemarket Engine Management Harness

Has anyone here ever used either the Ford Racing, Painless Wiring or the Summit Racing engine management/ECM harness to replace your old, beat up original harness? What were your results? I've been chasing an intermittent runability issue for years and the only thing left questionable is the harness.

Thanks.

I know how you feel! I've threatened to carb this car more times than I can remember. lol. But if I carb it, then I admit defeat and will never know what was causing the problem. Not quite ready for that yet.

I bought a low mileage harness from a forum member--it's currently in shipping. I'll report back on this thread once installed with the results.

Well, went to install the harness and it's not for a 1990 model.

I did get rid of my gremlins when I replaced my stock hardness on my 1989 with the Painless. Went to 347 supercharged and still have the same hardness, I'd say about 5 years.
