if new to tuning, check out the manuals from LaSota Racing!

I have people ask me about tuning since I do my own now and the best ways to learn more about it. Not any real good books/manuals have been available but the ones from LaSota seem to be well worth it. It looks like they have been well thought out and executed. I got one of the manuals from LaSota and I own every book out basically on tuning and this is the easiest to understand and most comprehensive yet. It's worth reading, and much better than the other available ones. I have the SCT version but there are multiples available. I still have to finish the whole book, I have just been real busy with work/kid/etc. If your like me and like to read and learn as much as possible it's worth it.

Completely agree. Most tuning manuals are so generic they are useless if you already understand how PCMs, sensors and such function. When possible, the Lasota manuals actually attempt to instruct you more specifically on your tune. i.e. adjust this field from 1.0 to .95, and your PCM should respond in this manner. It not the desired result then ........

Not cheap, but very worth owning.

Are these general tuning or specific only to SCT?

There is one specific for SCT, one specific for Binary Editor/Moates, another specific for Delta Force/Sniper and finally one for HP tuners for Fords. The hP Tuners is for the models they cover 2005-2010. In a few months there will be one for tuning GMs with HP Tuners.

In addition to that I would say become a member on eectuning.org and start absorbing all of the knowledge there. That site is priceless for tuners.
