SCT Raptor Issues

I just bought a raptor datalogger from another member and when I load the disk in my cd rom and try and install the software the computer will load it. Can someone give me a breif run down of how this thing is suppost to work? How do I load the software? and will the raptor work with livelink?

I have the raptor, usb cable, obd2 cable, and the sct raptor disk.
