car problem with battery

hey guys...i took off a battery relocation kit and replaced with factory stuff....i have the battery located on the passenger side because the msd box is on the factory spot...anyways...i took the short posi. cable and bolted and taped it to two other cables to make one posi. cable long enough to go from my battery to my starter solinoid...then i just run the neg cable straight down and bolted it to the bottom passenger side of the motor....also....the wire from my relocation kit that went to my altenator to shut the altenator down i guess?? i unhooked it from two small wires that plugged into the altenator and i replaced it with a regualr hot wire straight from my posi. battery side to the 2 wires so they would have not sure if this was right....anyways...i went to start up the car...i dont even have an interior power anywhere....and i switched to a different battery that i just recently started a car with and it still did the same thing ... so i guess its not the battery and this is where im confused.....can anyone guess what may be wrong???
