Lightbulb Shift light idea

The green wire needs to go to the negative side of the coil.
I don't have any pictures at this time, but I mounted my shift light on the top of the clock housing.

Hope this helps!

ack on top of the clock housing? That must almost touch the rearview mirror

I am mounting mine inside the air vent, so nobody can see it. I don't like gaudy stuff like that in the interior (also theft magnet). I don't have AC so the condensation issue is not pertinent. ANother good spot I have seen is on the steering column.

Got my tach (with built in shift light) mounted on top the steering column right in front of the stock tach. You really can't see it from outside (it's black and matches the dash) unless you really look.

I mounted my shift lite upside down on the A Pillar right above the defrost vent for the driver side window. it almost gets overlooked by people checking out my car because of this location but you can't miss the flash it gives when racing. I have a pic I can email for someone to host if needed.

I have my shift-lite mounted on my steering column. I didn't feel the need for a tach. I just my stock tach for staging purposes and just wait for the light to come on 3 times. Yes the green wire goes to the negative side of the coil or to the ignition box (if you have an aftermarket ignition box). I have a pic of the shift-lite on the steering column. Email me and I will send them to you. I can see all of my tach.

shift light

I'm with BenW!!!

Mount it inside the AC vent! I did that in a coupe I used to own and it was too kewl!

I think your problem is low self-esteem, very common among losers!
