Battery Relocation + 3G Alternator

I'm going to be doing the battery relocation from Buff Homer's Site. The Question I have is I will not be running a cut off switch, so should I run the 2G wire from the alternator all the way to the back to the +on the battery or just run it to the + on the Starter Solinoid under the hood. Running to the starter Solinoid would use much less wiring. Also I was gonna run a 150 amp slow burn fuse. Does this sound right. Thanks.

u still need a long wire to go to the pos batt. the wire from the alt to solenoid is for "protection" if i'm not mistaken. the factory wires are too small for that alt.

K, I have 1/0 wire going from the solinoid to the +pos on the battery already. On buff homers site he has a 1/0 cable from starter solinoid to the + on the battery in the trunk. He also has a 2G wire running from the alternator to the Kill switch in the back. Since I'm not running the kill switch in the back there is no need to run the 2G wire from alternator all the way to the back!! right. I should be able to just run the 2G wire from 3G alternator to the starter solinoid.

THis is the link..... http://buffhomer.corral.net/custom.html

Yes, just go to the solenoid.
