Lightbulb ROUTING OF BATTERY CABLE?

Has anyone run their Battery cable through the inside of their car when doing a battery relocation? I'd like to hide the cable under the carpet but I'm not sure if there is any place on the lower part of the firewall that I can run the cable through? Any insight on this would be terrific!

Run it through the rear side by the shock tower, under the sill plate and drill a hole for a grommet under the factory computer harness. Run it behind the right kick panel.
Remount the soleniod to right strut tower on back side.

In my case, i removed the cruise control crap, and that left a hole with grommet in the firewall, beneath the fender. I used this hole and it works great.

Do it like Andr50 says to, except get your self an 'insulated pass-through' from Long acre. Is basicaly an insulated puck with a stud on each side. Much better then a gromet. Get two, one for the altenator-to kill switch, and one for the battery + to solenoid.
