CCRM Harness and unit, Melted

I am having trouble with my car blowing a fuse and its getting really troublesome. I have traced from the Ignition Control Module to either the Wires that go into the Car or the wires that go to the CCRM. It keeps on blowing the fuse on Circuit 18 in the interior Fuse box. I'm trying to trouble shoot this stuff and find it, but man it is giving me some troubles. Anyone have some insight on this???

Thanks!
Pete

My stock fan bearings wore out and the fan drew too much power and melted the connector and wires where they connect from the CCRM at the fan.

It may be that yours is drawing too much and overloading #18, but I have no idea what #18 is...

Search for CCRM Recall to hear lots of opinions on what is going on.

Does your fan work well? Any overheating problems?

I have traced a short to the harness that the CCRM plugs into, but it is barely showing a load that it is grounging out, but its still grounding out. I think the Plug that goes into the CCRM might be farbued.
