You have power door locks but no keyless entry? I know the alarm was optional but I thought all cars with power door locks came with keyless entry.

I dont have keyless entry, but maybe the previous owner just lost the remotes. I dont know. I would be curious to know if I could just get some remotes.

They go for $20 on ebay if you want to take a shot. Of course you could find someone with a remote and try to teach it but I don't know if you can remove them from a system. Let me know if you want to try one of mine.

You actually teach the car to recognize and accept the remotes. I forgot the exact proceedure. Maybe Google can find it.

Even the (somewhat) low end alarms have keyless entry. Why not get the alarm while you're at it?

No need for an alarm, my car sits in the garage, and very rarly leaves, and if I drive it, its to work, were it is parked right out back, and I never take it anywhere where it would be left unsupervised. I am just a freek like that, No worries since I have two cars.
